HCDX-310 Permanent Magnet Flaw Detector with >18kg Lifting Force and Adjustable 50-200mm Pole Distance

Description
Lifting Force: > 18 Kg

Permanent Magnet Flaw Detector HCDX-310
The HCDX-310 permanent magnet flaw detector is a compact, portable testing tool designed for magnetic particle flaw detection without requiring external power supply. Ideal for workshop or laboratory use, it is particularly suitable for testing in locations without power access or in explosive environments where special electrical equipment cannot be used.
Technical Specifications
Lifting Force > 18 kg
Pole Distance Adjustable continuously from 50 to 200mm
External Dimensions 175 mm × 160mm × 45mm
Weight 2.25 Kg
Operating Principle
The instrument utilizes the strong magnetic field of permanent magnets to magnetize ferromagnetic materials. When defects are present on or near the surface of the workpiece, local magnetic poles form. Magnetic powder with good magnetic conductivity applied to the surface is attracted to these local magnetic poles, accumulating to clearly indicate the position and shape of defects.
Structural Features
Features adjustable magnetic pole spacing from 50 mm to 200 mm with rotatable probes for detecting defects in different planes. Large workpieces can be partially magnetized in sections, making it convenient for field operations, particularly advantageous for high-altitude work and locations where live electrical operation is impractical.
Usage Instructions
Important Precautions
  • Avoid collisions that may disturb the regular arrangement of magnetic domains, weaken magnetism, and affect normal operation
  • Do not approach strongly magnetic objects to prevent reverse magnetization of the instrument
  • After use, short-circuit the two yokes with filler iron to form a circuit, reducing interference from earth magnetic fields and external magnetic fields
Operation Procedure
  • Prepare for inspection by removing iron; inspection lift > 18 kg can be used
  • Check whether moving parts are in good working order
  • During flaw detection, properly adjust magnetic pole spacing to ensure good contact between workpiece and yoke iron
  • For large workpieces, follow technical procedures for partial magnetization
  • The flaw detector is suitable for continuous, wet flaw detection
  • For workpieces with angles, adjust arms and yoke iron to ensure good contact for effective flaw detection
  • After operation, clean the instrument, short-circuit the two yoke iron with iron, and store in toolbox
Troubleshooting and Maintenance
  • Insufficient lift: Check contact between instrument parts. If magnetic resistance increases and lifting force decreases, adjust relevant screws for better contact. If parts contact well but magnetism is weak, the instrument requires magnetization
  • Replace damaged parts when necessary
  • For normal continuous use, test flaw detector every half month with lifting force > 18 kg using 600 × 200 × 20 block
  • Magnetize the instrument regularly (frequency determined by usage patterns)
  • Use specialized magnetization equipment or flaw detectors produced by our factory for magnetization
