HMP-8000 Bench Type Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Flaw Detection Machine for Gear Ring Type Parts
1. Working principle
Magnetic particle detection uses the interaction between magnetic leakage field and magnetic powder at the defect of the workpiece. It takes advantage of the difference between the surface and near surface defects of iron and steel products (such as cracks, slag inclusion, hair lines, etc.) permeability and iron and steel permeability. After magnetization, the magnetic field at the discontinuous place of these materials will be distorted, forming part of the magnetic flux leakage and resulting in magnetic leakage field. Thus attracting magnetic powder to form the accumulation of magnetic powder at the defect - magnetic trace, under appropriate lighting conditions, showing the location and shape of the defect
2. Usage
Fluorescent magnetic particle flaw detection machine is used to detect the surface and near surface of ferromagnetic workpiece (such as: gear, gear ring, gear shaft, etc.) due to forging, quenching, grinding, fatigue caused by cracks and slag inclusion and other fine defects.
