Probe sensor selection
When customers have special testing project requirements or do not know much about the probe specification, function selection, please provide the following information, we will give the recommended choice: 1, the inspected workpiece material material and heat treatment; 2. Physical size, surface and end of the material of the workpiece to be inspected; 3. Manufacturers and models of instruments used for testing; 4. Contents and standards of testing items; 5. Detect speed or beat. The probe can be divided into parametric type and transformer type according to the different output signal of the detection coil. The general frequency is 10Hz-10MHz. According to the different test material can choose with excitation coil or without excitation coil.
Probe type of sensor

Use of probe sensors
General eddy current probe has a certain detection Angle, according to the detection requirements, according to the workpiece and probe relative direction of motion to adjust the probe Angle, probe detection surface perpendicular to the surface of the detected workpiece (placed, point probe), the probe and the workpiece to maintain a relatively uniform speed, maintain a relatively stable lifting distance, lifting distance between 0.2-0.8mm is generally the best. Fine-tune the gain range of the instrument according to different lifting needs.
Adjustment process:
1. Place standard samples;
2, set the motion direction of the probe, vertical installation;
3, lifting adjustment to 0.2-0.8mm (according to the workpiece surface roughness, dimensional tolerance);
4, run the software, adjust the frequency and gain until the defect of the standard sample in the critical position alarm. (Lifting the probe too close will result in signal saturation, and too far will result in poor sensitivity).
Use of probe cable
According to the different interface of the instrument using different structures to make the probe cable, general production of probe line need to know the instrument interface and interface definition, according to the different definition of the probe cable.
