Overview:
The HUATEC integrated pipeline anti-corrosion coating condition detector can inspect buried pipelines without excavation, quantitatively assess the damage of the external anti-corrosion coating of buried pipelines, and precisely locate and measure the depth of pipelines. This detection technology can not only be used as a means of inspection and acceptance for newly completed pipelines, but also for regular monitoring of pipelines in operation. Inspecting the condition of the protective layer of buried pipelines and carrying out targeted replacement and repair can extend the service life of the pipelines and save a large amount of maintenance and renovation funds. Working principle
The HD-170PCM consists of three parts: the transmitter, the receiver and the detector (A-frame). The transmitter is an independent 0.1A-3A detection signal output device, and the handheld receiver is used for tracking pipeline routes, precisely locating damage points and measuring current. The current intensity on the pipeline decreases with the increase of distance. Under the condition that the pipe diameter, pipe material and soil environment remain unchanged, the better the insulation of the anti-corrosion layer to the ground, the less current loss and the smaller the attenuation. Conversely, if the anti-corrosion coating is damaged, such as aging, peeling off, and the insulation performance is worse, the current loss will be more severe and the attenuation will be greater.
When the ultra-low frequency signal (CP) close to the DC signal is loaded onto the pipeline, the voltage gradient formed by the damaged point of the pipeline's anti-corrosion layer and the soil accordingly establishes a ground electric field distribution on the ground above the pipeline. The closer to the damage point, the greater the voltage gradient, and the greater the current density on the ground above the pipeline. Generally speaking, the larger the exposed area, the greater the current density near it, and the greater the ground voltage gradient. The probe instrument detects the position of the pipeline, keeping the detector at the position of the pipeline. The voltage gradient detector measures the potential gradient value (dB) above the pipeline and the current direction (CP) in the soil to determine the severity of pipeline damage and the precise location of the anti-corrosion layer damage point.
Evaluation software:
1. Software Overview
In order to cooperate with the post-processing and analysis of the on-site detection data of the current market underground pipeline external anti-corrosion layer detection instruments (including the geographical location information of the target pipeline, the buried depth information, the current information in the pipe, the size of the anti-corrosion layer damage point, etc.), in accordance with the national standard (GB/T 19285-2014) and relevant industry standards, Provide the anti-corrosion coating assessment report of the tested pipe section (chart report, text report), and offer users the classification evaluation results of the current attenuation of the external anti-corrosion coating and the density value of the damage points of the external anti-corrosion coating to determine the subsequent treatment measures: Anti-corrosion layer monitoring, local repair of anti-corrosion layer, major overhaul of anti-corrosion layer, etc., and can be printed out in the form of reports, providing reliable reference basis for pipeline owners and facilitating archiving.
2. Software functions
Based on the on-site measurement data of the buried pipeline by the receiver (such as current, burial depth, longitude and latitude, distance, size of the damage point, etc.), relevant curves and reports are generated. The software has the following functions:
1. It can be connected to the pipeline meter receiver, and the current data, pipeline burial depth, longitude and latitude, distance and other data saved during the measurement process can be imported into the software (or the relevant data collected on site can be manually entered). Meanwhile, in the connected state, the data saved in the instrument can be cleared.
2. After the data is imported, the software can calculate the current attenuation rate Y value, the density P value of the damage points of the anti-corrosion layer, and the insulation resistivity Rg value of the anti-corrosion layer based on the imported data.
3. The imported data and the data after relevant calculations can be edited.
4. Data can be browsed, and the saved data can be displayed in the form of statistical tables. It can also be exported in excel or word table format for easy viewing. The formed report should be saved in word document format or PDF document format.
