The hardness tester can be set up to measure both rockwell hardness and superficial rockwell, or set as to measure either rockwell or superficial rockwell. When under rockwell and superficial rockwell (both scales are available), the tester can be used to test the hardness of plastic, just make sure the right scale is chosen. The set-up can be customized.
